Vaccines remain one of the most effective ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community from serious disease. The year 2025 brings updated immunization schedules from the CDC to ensure everyone — from infancy through older adulthood — gets the most current guidance.

At NALC Health Benefit Plan, we follow these CDC schedules closely. Whether you’re caring for a newborn, supporting a teenager, or maintaining your health as a retiree, staying up-to-date helps you stay strong.

Below, you’ll find direct links to the latest combined CDC schedules, a breakdown of recommended vaccines by age group, and resources you can use today.

Immunization Schedules 2025 by Age Group

Infants and Children (Ages 0–18 years)

The early years set the foundation for lifelong health. Vaccines help protect children from serious infections as their immune systems mature.

You can view or download the full CDC 2025 child schedule here: 0-18 Years Combined Immunization Schedule (PDF)

This schedule covers vaccines such as:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus & Pertussis (DTaP)
  • Polio (IPV)
  • Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Pneumococcal disease
  • Rotavirus
  • And more boosters and catch-up vaccinations

Teens & Young Adults

As children grow into teens and young adults, the same combined schedule applies—but additional vaccines and boosters become especially important.

The 0–18 years combined CDC schedule above includes:

  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) booster
  • HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine
  • Meningococcal vaccines
  • Annual influenza vaccination

Vaccination during adolescence helps protect against diseases that can develop later in life, including certain cancers linked to HPV.

Adults (Ages 19 and older)

Even healthy adults need routine vaccines to maintain immunity over time.

You can view or download the 2025 adult combined schedule here: Adult Immunization Schedule (PDF)

This schedule includes recommended vaccines such as:

  • Tdap or Td boosters (every 10 years)
  • Annual influenza (flu) shots
  • MMR (if not vaccinated earlier)
  • Varicella (if you’ve never had chickenpox or vaccine)
  • Hepatitis A and B (as needed)
  • HPV (up to age 45, based on risk)

In addition, for older adults or those with certain health conditions, the schedule may include:

  • Pneumococcal vaccines (PCV15, PCV20)
  • Herpes zoster (shingles) vaccine
  • COVID-19 and booster vaccinations
  • Other vaccines tailored to chronic conditions

Why the 2025 Schedules Matter

Each year, the CDC reviews the latest scientific data and revises vaccine recommendations as needed. By following the 2025 immunization schedules, you’re ensuring your care aligns with the most up-to-date medical guidance.

For NALC HBP members, vaccines and immunizations that are part of the recommended schedule are covered as preventive care from in-network providers—so you pay no out-of-pocket cost. That makes staying current easier and more accessible.

If you're unsure which vaccines apply to you or your family, talk with your doctor. You can also check plan details for eligibility under the High Option Plan or the Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP).

Keep Your Immunizations Up to Date in 2025

Vaccines protect you, your family, and your community. They’re safe, effective, and one of the most reliable tools in preventive health.

Review the 2025 combined immunization schedules, talk with your doctor, and make sure every member of your household is on track. You can rely on NALC HBP to support you with coverage and guidance—so you can focus on living your healthiest life.
