Your NALC Health Benefit Plan does more than help cover your care, it rewards you for taking care of yourself. Through the Plan's Wellness Rewards Program, eligible PSHB members can earn money for completing healthy activities throughout the year.
Here's exactly what's available in 2026, how much each activity pays, and how to get started.
What Is the Wellness Rewards Program?
The Wellness Rewards Program is a health incentives program included in your NALC HBP coverage. When you complete a qualifying wellness activity — like getting a flu shot, finishing a biometric screening, or completing a health assessment — you earn rewards. Your wellness programs are designed to make healthy choices easier and more rewarding throughout the year.
How the rewards work:
-
Rewards are loaded onto a prepaid debit card and mailed to you. If you've already received rewards in a previous year, funds are added to your existing TASC card.
-
You must be an NALC HBP member, age 18 or older, and have completed an eligible activity to receive a card.
-
Hold on to your card even if your balance reaches $0. Future rewards are added to the same card. A new card is only issued when your current one expires.
-
You can earn one reward per activity, per person, per calendar year.
-
Rewards can be used for IRS Section 213(d) eligible expenses — including copays, prescriptions, and medical equipment or supplies.
